Terms of Use (EULA) — RecipeMeter
This document ("Terms") is the agreement between ArcanForge ("we", "us", "our") and you ("user") regarding RecipeMeter (the "app"). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms.
1. Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for personal non-commercial use. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, or repurpose the app or its underlying content, workflows, or analytics systems.
2. Subscription terms
RecipeMeter Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription with two plans:
- Monthly — auto-renews every month.
- Annual — auto-renews every 12 months (50% discount vs. monthly).
Prices are set per territory by Apple and displayed in the app's paywall at purchase time. Apple Small Business Program applies (15% commission tier).
2.1 Free trial
A 7-day free trial may be offered to first-time subscribers. Your subscription begins and is charged at the end of the trial, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
2.2 Auto-renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the period at the prevailing territory price. You will be charged for renewal even if you have not opened the app.
2.3 How to cancel
Cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → RecipeMeter → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep premium access until then. No partial refunds for the remaining period.
2.4 Refunds
All refund decisions are made by Apple. Request at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
3. Professional advice disclaimer
RecipeMeter is a software tool for personal decision support and workflow tracking. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, safety, or professional advice unless a future app-specific notice explicitly says otherwise. You are responsible for checking outputs before relying on them for important decisions.
4. Your content
Records, notes, exports, settings, and other content you create in RecipeMeter belong to you. The app is local-first unless a feature clearly asks you to share, export, sync, or send content elsewhere. You are responsible for keeping any backup you need.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the app to violate laws, platform rules, or another person's rights.
- Do not scrape, overload, attack, or interfere with ArcanForge services or analytics endpoints.
- Do not use the app to provide regulated professional advice to others unless you are qualified and legally permitted to do so.
6. Warranty disclaimer
RecipeMeter is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Product outputs are best-effort and individual results vary with inputs, device state, operating system version, and the way you use the app.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArcanForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including decisions made from app outputs or disputes with third-party services.
8. Termination
We may terminate the licence if you materially breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by deleting the app.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are submitted exclusively to Seoul Central District Court.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced in the app on first launch after the update. Continued use after the change indicates acceptance.
