Privacy Policy — SnoozeGuard
SnoozeGuard ("we", "our", or "the app") is published by ArcanForge. This policy explains what personal data the app collects, how we use it, your rights under the GDPR and CCPA, and how you can contact us.
1. Data we collect
SnoozeGuard is designed to work without an account and without mandatory cloud sync. By default:
- On-device app data: records, settings, preferences, and saved workflow state live in local iOS storage unless a specific Apple system integration is enabled by you.
- Optional Apple system integrations: if SnoozeGuard offers exports, files, widgets, notifications, or other Apple-provided integrations, those actions are handled by Apple's platform APIs and your device settings.
- Anonymous analytics events: minimal usage events such as app open, activation action, paywall shown, trial attempt, purchase result, referral intent, and feedback submission may be sent to ArcanForge's analytics endpoint for product improvement. Events avoid user-entered content and personal identifiers. You can opt out in Settings when the app exposes that control.
2. Data we do NOT collect
- We do not require an account to use the app.
- We do not collect passwords, Apple ID credentials, payment card numbers, or government identifiers.
- We do not intentionally collect the private content you create inside the app unless you choose to send it to support.
- We do not embed advertising SDKs. We do not track you across apps.
- We do not sell, rent, or share data with brokers or data resellers.
3. Payments
SnoozeGuard subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles billing, receipts, and payment details per Apple's privacy policy. We receive only an anonymous transaction ID to unlock premium features on your device.
4. GDPR / CCPA — your rights
Because SnoozeGuard is local-first and does not require an account, most app data is controlled from your device. If you still wish to exercise a right under GDPR / CCPA:
- Deletion: delete the app — local data is removed with it.
- Access / portability: use any export feature available in SnoozeGuard, or email support for help with app-specific export options.
- Opt-out of analytics: turn analytics off in Settings when available. Subsequent optional analytics events are not sent.
- Request confirmation: email support@arcanforge.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
5. Children
SnoozeGuard is rated 4+ but is not marketed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
6. Security
Local data is stored via SwiftData and inherits Apple's file-system protections (NSFileProtectionCompleteUntilFirstUserAuthentication). Anonymous analytics are transmitted over HTTPS to an ArcanForge-controlled endpoint. No credentials are stored in the app.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update "Last updated" above and — for material changes — add a notice on first app launch after the update.
